Movie Reviews

A lost gem!
Claude Bourggeois | Moncton, Canada | 11/09/2005

"Thanks to Kultur for releasing this made in 1978 video !!! It's an absolute treasure which proves Anne Murray's appeal and talent are timeless. The video is entertaining, educational and her performance of the "Canadian Medley" in particular is outstanding. The music is great , the scenery wonderful. Here's to hoping more great Anne Nurray videos are released. It is a crime not to share these great gems. Her record company should support her much more strongly-she is a major star with close to 50 million albums sold-her videos and concerts deserve the same treatment."
Anne Murray in Jamaica-Excellent Special
Harold A. Blanchette Jr. | Lester Praire MN | 10/12/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This DVD contains a special by Anne Murray filmed in Jamaica. It is from around 1978. This is excellent nostolgia, and a must for any Anne Murray fan. Anne sings a few of her own hits, plus her take on music at the time. Guest stars are Valerie Harper and Ruth Buzzi. Let's hope more of Anne's specials are released on DVD. I highly recommend."
Terrible recording quality

"This appears to have been taken from an old video tape of the concert, and the picture quality is terrible, while the sound quality is pretty poor as well.
It is difficult to believe Anne Murray would have agreed to the release of this, as there must be other material from the same era which is of better quality.
The content may be enjoyable, but in every other respect this is now the worst DVD I own."
