"I've never written a review before, but I'd like to start out by stating the obvious and say that the following is simply my opinion, not a fact. That said, I love Alec Empire/Atari Teenage Riot: Sixteen Years of Video Material. If your a fan of either ATR or any of the surviving members solo careers (R.i.p. Carl Crack), then this 2-disc set is a must have. From the nearly complete collection of ATR's music video's including a live performance of Revolution Action as well as footage from the Berlin riot of May 1st, 1999; to Alec Empire's performance at The Fuji Rock Festival along with most of his music video's, this set has everything a fan(atic) could want. It even features videos from Hanin Elias and Nic Endo, as well as the rare We Punkeinheit video from Nintendo Teenage Robots. It also contains the Virus short films that Alec Empire did the music for.
The only thing I don't like about this to disc set is that it's limited to 1000 copies. I'm pretty sure they have more than 1000 fans. If they were going to limit the copies I think they should have limited them to 3000-5000 copies. With only 1000 copies, there's going to be a lot of fans who will have to settle for the single disc version, causing them to miss out on alot of the cool bonuses and videos.
That aside this was one of the best purchases I've made all year and if you're an ATR fan and can get a hold of a copy then Alec Empire/Atari Teenage Riot: Sixteen Years of Video Material is a must-have."
