Based on true events, it has a feel of NFLers Brian Bosworth's Stone Cold. Charlie Sheen, Linda Fiorentino Michael Madsen and others do an outstanding job. A must watch!

Movie Reviews

One of my All-Time favorites!

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I saw this movie a few years ago, when I was a police officer, and I loved it. The fact that it's based on true story made it that much more interesting to me. When I finally found it for sale, I bought it immediately! I don't know how many times I've seen this movie but each time is just as good as the first! I was pleasantly surprised to see Linda Fiorentino in a nude sex scene and Michael Madson playing a great bad guy part. The whole thing is brought together with a wonderful performance by Charlie Sheen (as he usually does)"
Good True Story

"This is a good movie based on a true story. Charlie sheen is thrown into an undercover situation with very little training - two people could blow his cover at any time. Some might find the bike-building scene as a distraction, but I liked it. I think the portrait of some of the nuances of biker groups was rich in detail. Only complaint is that the biker "babes" in the movie were not accurate. Come on we all know biker babes are hot (my Mom is a biker babe) but the ones in the movie were - let's say, "lacking". Another non-intended comic point was the redneck bar scene. Charlie storms into a bar filled with "the meanest rednecks you ever seen" and they are all wearing pressed oxfords and loafers. But maybe that's the way rednecks dress in AZ? Charlie plays this multi-dimensional character very well. Overall, a good story well told."
A riveting, raw treatise on one man's fight to save his soul

"Charlie Sheen is excellent as Don Saxon, a displaced police officer trying to reconcile his good heart and need to do what's right with the fact that he murdered his abusive uncle when he was six years old. Saxon (Sheen) is haunted by his past. He is forced to come face to face with who he really is by assuming the alter ego of Sid, an undercover cop infiltrating drug and gun smuggling biker gangs. There are times when Saxon cannot distinguish bewteen Sid and himself. This immersion in Sid probably saves his life and enables his success in surviving the ruthless biker world and in gathering huge amounts of damaging evidence. Anyone who has had to resolve guilt and anger from their past, and who loves bikes and biker freedom will enjoy this true story and find a little of themselves in Sid/Saxon. Charlie Sheen's best movie since "Platoon", with strong support from Fiorentino and Madsen. The soudtrack leaves an indelible impression equal to that of the story itself. I enjoyed this movie very much and watch it over and over."
