This is Marilyn greatest performance. Anyone who says she can't act should watch this. Its rather disturbing to see her playing a mental patient, knowing her real mother was mentally ill and Marilyn herself would eventually suffer from mental disease. Its a great story for the time frame, kinda edgy. Marilyn is obsessed with Widmark and flirts with him while babysitting for a rich couple in a hotel room. She ties up the little girl and gags her to keep her quiet while seducing him. Things turn ugly when her cousin door man learn whats she doing. Again, Marilyn is fantastic. Her facial expressions and slow movements add to the disturbing performance.
