I went to the movies and saw the second film and needed to see the original. It was wonderful!.. My grandchildren laughed from their toes and talked about the DVD for days. It certainly is a family film. Great for all ages.

Entertaining, silly, and fun. If you want to get away from reality and like the thought of cats and dogs that can reason and talk, you'll enjoy this.

Such a cute movie !! :) I liked it a lot. The story is great, and they chose the best puppies and cats for the parts, they actually do it really well, and the animations are believeable. I'd reccomend it to anyone who loves animals, action, and needs something to watch with the family.

Great fun

"Tired of taking your kids to a family movie and finding it's neither for them or you?Cat's and Dog's is wonderful family entertainment. I went with the neighbor's kids and they couldn't stop turning to me with a "Hey this is cool," look in their eyes.I was entertained. The film is witty, innocent, fun and winking here and there at adults.Kids will love the adventure. This is not Shrek where you wonder if my kid should of heard that or seen that... etc. This is much better. So bring your friends and as many kids as you can find. Everyone will have a ball... and be on the look out for the Russian Spy kitty.Sincerly, J.R."
This is the summer movie to see!

"Forget Lara Croft, Jurrasic Part 95 - grab the kids, the grandparents and roar the station wagon over to the cineplex to see this movie! Like Toy Story 2 this movie is good for children and hysterical for adults! The evil Mr. Tinkles is the best Villan - right up there with Autsin Power's Dr. Evil! This movie is a highlight of the summer - you'll laugh you'll cry you'll nuzzle your pet when you get home! I always thought my dog was smarter than 3/4 of the human population now I know he is for sure! Don't miss the Ninja fighting cats - too good!!"
Cats & Dogs: The Review

"Cats & Dogs tells the epic tale of a war that has been waged sinse the start of time. The film tells of a story of an alliance of cats who will stop at nothing to rule the world. The dogs try and stop them. Going into this film, I will be the first to admit I thought it would be kiddish and not that funny. I was happily wrong. The film has an excellent voice talent and a nice cast. The film has jokes that do not get stale, and they keep them coming. The animation used for the mouths and action is done very well. The one bad thing about the film is the whole family part. I think the movie could of just been about the cats and dogs instead of the family. Maybe, they could of just used Jeff Goldblum, I did not really like the mother or the son. Amoung the others, some of my favorite characters where the "Russian Cat", the lackey cat played by Jon Lovitz and of course "Lou". A very good choice for the whole family, but also not boring for the teens. Have a good one, I hoped I helped in your choice to see this film, one way or another.Ryan"
