Movie Reviews

BRILLIANT SITCOM
R. Dubrow | Philadelphia | 03/20/2007
(4 out of 5 stars)

"A clever and witty opposites-attract comedy show; in my opinion the first five Shelley Long seasons are far superior to the final six years. Having watched these on their original airing, it is now wonderful to be able to own them in their unedited form, the way they are supposed to be viewed. However, why so few extras? Compare it to NBCs 90s powerhouse Seinfeld, and the crammed with extras season sets that show has released. Considering all but one of the actors are still alive, there should have been interviews galore. A glaring omission."
AMAZING!

"Growing up I thought I liked Cheers. Being born in 78 often times I couldn't appreciate a lot of the subtle humor. Now being older, and watching them again, in order, I would say that Cheers is easily the best TV i have ever seen. And Season 1 is the best season of TV that has ever been made. Yup, better than Seinfeld, Friends, etc. And not a little better. We are talking leaps and bounds.

If you thought you knew Cheers. You don't. Re-watch them. Watch them in order. And you will have a completely different outlook on the masterpiece that is Cheers."

"There's not much to say if you are a Cheers lover. It's the best."
