"There is one great thing about this collection. It has the long OOP Christmas Carol 1969 CBS Famous Classic Tales on it. The one that was released by Rhino in 1993 and by Bridgestne Multimedia in 1998. It took a long time to search this one out.
The original film was never remastered, but of good DVD quality. All the releases of this classic come from the original master film.
This cartoon set was originally released in 2005 by Diamond Entertainment. Out of print for a few years, now TGG direct seems to have picked it up. For how long, i don't know. Some of the old Diamond Entertainment releases were picked up by Tgg Direct. Some of those titles are no longer in print by TGG Direct. During the course of this past year, it was hard to find a copy of this title. Occassionally you would find a new or used one listed. Now that it is Christmas, many sellers are posting them at a real bargain price! Sure beats paying 30 dollars and up for a used VHS.
Anyhow, grab a copy of this while they are still available. How long TGG will have them or continue to distribute them from various warehouses, who knows.The listing on the DVD is as follows:
