Like most Christmas movies, they are a little silly, a little funny, and always have a good message.

Groundhog day meets Christmas movie. Silly but fun.

Movie Reviews

We really enjoyed this movie....

"What a fun movie.

Simply stated, if you liked Groundhog Day, you'll like Christmas Do-Over. I guess that is why we liked it so much.

There really isn't much more to say....here's a little plot....Jay Mohr seems to be the worst dad in the world. He shows up late for Christmas with his ex in-laws and brings a crappy present for his son. He doesn't like his ex-wife's new dude and all kind of problems ensue. Ooo, but he wakes up the next day just to do it all over again, until he gets it right and possibly gets his wife back.

Great tv movie.

Highly recommend this one!

Merry Christmas!"
Don't Even Think About It

"Had the main character been as endearing as Bill Murray in "Groundhog Day" this may have been more palatable. Since that was not the case you kept hoping for something redeeming or different. Not gonna happen. So this just isn't really worth your time. In fact it will quite possibly give you a headache watching the same pieces shown over and over so you can see what he does different to try to fix it. I can suggest far to many Christmas movies that are better. On a replayability scale "Christmas Do-over" won't be done over, so this gets a zero."
Fun Family Christmas Movie!

"My family LOVES this movie! It's the first one we choose at the start of the Christmas season. I really don't understand the negative reviews. It's clean, funny, and in a beautiful setting. It's made for TV (abc family), which we like because there is more of a chance we can all watch together (parents in 40's, 10-yr-old son, and grandmother). I will admit, the DVD version is slightly different from the TV version (we liked the TV one better), but it didn't stop us from buying a copy. Give it a chance!"
