X-Files clone for Canadian TV. At first glance, this might look like an 'In Search Of' since it is "hosted by Dan Aykroyd". But it's actually a team of government investigators who apparently have cross-jurisdiction between the US and Canada(?). The show was co-created by Aykroyd's younger brother, but Dan's involvement seems minor (a repeated segment at the beginning and sometimes a customized commentary on the episode at the end). For season 4, many of the episodes are pretty cheesy, although many of them are mildly improved with the departure of Matt Frewer (Max Headroom). Frewer seemed to be the key character in the early episodes. I didn't watch the first 3 seasons so I can't speak to the quality of those. Probably the most entertaining part is just seeing what the writers chose as the paranormal subject of the week.
