Movie ReviewsIn Venice, truth is stranger than fiction Rebeq | 09/13/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "If it wasn't for the tragedy of 9/11, I'd say this was one of the most funniest films I've ever seen. You may ask how can this be funny, but watch for yourself and you'll know. Venice really is a town like straight out of a 3rd class hollywood movie. This town is completely absurd.
To give an example, you'll find a club for senior military and law enforcement officials just opposite of a club for rich Italian-Americans... wait did you say rich Italian-Americans? That's right, the Mafia. Nearby, you'll find a guy who happened to rent a car to Mohammed Atta. This guy's rental isn't even listed in the local phonebook, yet Mohammed managed to find it. Guess what, this was the last car Mohammed ever drove. Not far from that, you'll find some Dutch persons running dodgy airports which obviously don't make any profit, and they've been doing so for years. Now guess what, this is just where all the hijackers learned to fly. Jeb Bush frequently shows up there as well. This film is great entertainment. Watch it, get the message and get rid of this government. Otherwise, go on living your lives in a state which is rotten beyond belief." |
