Movie Reviews

Good Boxed Set.
August F. Hutchins | Mt. View, Ca USA | 11/20/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This is a boxed set of all the Davros Doctor Who stories and is mostly made up of previously released material (Genesis Of The Daleks, Resurrection Of The Daleks; and Revelation Of The Daleks). However, the set does include two features previously unreleased DVDs: Destiny Of The Daleks and a new, re-mastered, version of Remembrance Of The Daleks. Along with a new video cleanup, Remembrance Of The Daleks is featured for the first time with a remastered soundtrack and a 5.1 surround sound mix. The special features have been updated too; with some new interviews and more behind the scenes footage.

But in addition to containing all the Davros stories from television, this set features all the Big Finish Davros audio plays: Davros; The Juggernauts; Terror Firma; I, Davros: Innocence; I, Davros: Purity; I, Davros: Corruption; I: Davros: Guilt; The Davros Mission - a brand-new story exclusive to this release.

While this set does feature some older releases, it's actually made up of material people might not have known about and maybe interesting in getting. But if you're like me and you probably just want the two new DVD releases you'll buy those (Destiny Of The Daleks; Remembrance Of The Daleks); which are also released March 4th as well."
