"This is a DVD made for professionals that understand what they are doing. It comes with a 10 page booklet, and I mean a tiny tiny tiny booklet that gives very minimal details except for perhaps what tracks are on the disk. This booklet is so bad that even sound engineers would be bummed out since it does not even provide the most minimal tech info as to vu levels to set, responses etc etc I mean even using a sound level meter I had no clue as to what I was looking for. Another thing that bothered me, once I started any tracks or test I had to push EVERY button on my remote to get the thing to stop ....The dvd also contains video tests and if little is said about the audio portion even less is said about the video. pretty colours and dots & squares though... The ONLY thing this dvd does, and why at least it has 1 star, is allows you to check frequency responce from sub woofer to the highest tweeter and all the speaker channels for a 9 speaker setup .... Dont waste you money unless you KNOW what you are doing"
It's not a movie! It's for setting up your player.

"I thought this DVD was really helpful for setting up my new DVD player and my speakers. Reading an old version of Stereo Review told me that this disc was really useful, and they were right. But, it's only for set up and a few demos -- don't expect it to be more."
This is a test

"Err, this is a test CD, not a movie. It is designed to help set up your Dolby-digital system. This disk would have been really useful to me when I was DVD shopping, but now that I bought my system it helped me calibrate it."
