I really like this show. It is a genuine time capsule. It shows not only what life on the run from a change-gang was like, but is also shows the racial issues of the time.

It is the story of a black man and a white man, literally stuck with each other and trying to escape from a chain gang. The two have to learn to overcome their differences if they will survive, and in the end they form a friendship.

The historical aspect of this film makes it worth watching.
