Movie Reviews

SEASON 3
Mr. J. Fairchild | TONBRIDGE, ENGLAND | 09/19/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I am so pleased season 3 is finally been released. This in my oppion is when diagnosis murder really started to take off gone are jack and delores and in comes jessie travis played by charlie schlater(police academy 7 and 18 again). I have always been of the oppion that the strength of the program lies not in the fact that their is a murder every week but the strength lies in the relationships between the principal characters ie mark treats jessie and amanda as part of his family and that comes across on screen and as such you the viewer feel part of that same family. I think that is largely down to the legend that is dick van dyke and his perfomance on the screen. I can't wait for this season to be released hopefully the other seasons will come out as quickly as the previous seasons"
Another GREAT, yes that's great installment!

"Season 3 brings more mystery and suspense as Dr. Mark Sloan of community general hospital investigates along with his son.. A great series, keep rolling out these seasons Paramount! This show deserves 10 stars out of 10 not 1 out of 5, cough cough.. If you're looking to spend a good 45 minutes with excellent dynamic characters then this is the set for you!"
Fabulous Escapism

"When my hubby and I get chance to watch T.V then one of our favorite programmes is DM. It is great escapism form our hectic work and social schedual and helps us keep our sence of humour; knowing that Mark and co get the baddie everytime.
The characters work well and the story lines are never dull and the series does not take itself too seriously, how very refreshing!!!
If anyone does not like this programme I suggest they find something they do like and keep their comments to themselves!"
Keep on Solving Dr....keep on solving...

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Murder mystery shows can be so predictable..quirkly lead character, good cast, good ensemble, good writing....And then there's Diagnosis Murder. Quite easily one of the best of the soft core murder mystery shows, Season three gave us no Jack and Delores. They added to the program with their unique personalities, but with the addition of Charlie Schlatter (Travis) the cast undergoes a transformation.

The writing is still top notch, but like any show, they can take a while to build a strong cast and following. This is the beginning, but the first two seasons are no slouches either!

Give me DM over CSI anyday!
