It shows how his past has influenced his life, and how his decisions affect his family and future. It's a real life lesson for us all. Great performances by Ed Harris, Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward. It's 2 discs - about 4 hours long-but I loved every minute of it. 6 of 7 member(s) found this review helpful.
