Even Worse Than Evil contains the following four films....

Insaniac

A deranged woman suffering from amnesia is hypnotized so that she can explore her own mind. while trying to recover lost memories, she finds violent, horrific, nightmarish images. her recollections of reality begin to mesh with the terrifying images, revealing the mystery of her blood-soaked past.

2002 - Color - Not rated - Approx. 82 minutes

Last House On Hell Street

In a small house hidden in the dark woods, an evil force dwells. It has the power to infect one's soul and drive men to madness. Kyle falls victim, and once possessed he turns on his lover, Jessica. He abducts her, drags her into the house, tortures her mind, and brutalizes her flesh. The ghost of Kyle's mother, a spirit fueled by love and mercy, is needed to help Jessica escape. This film is a unique mix of expressionistic visual poetry and intense, grueling horror!

2002 - Color - Not rated - Approx. 70 minutes

Phobias

Robert J. Massetti's two films are sure to conjure up hidden phobias lurking in the dark reaches of your mind. First, When Shadows Lie Darkest tells a chilling yarn of a man who finds it hard to tell whether his nightmares are just dreams or if they are real. They lead him into a dark, surreal world shadowed by a killer. Will he wake in time? Next, Blackout centers around a desperate wife stuck in a dead-end marriage with her drunk, out-of-work husband. During a power blackout, she kills her husband in self-defense. As police investigate the suspicious murder, the woman finds herself befriending a songwriter who enjoys pulling childish pranks. As she tries to move on with her life, she is haunted by strange and unexplainable occurrences. Is her new friend up to his old tricks, or is it something much worse?

2003 - Color - Not rated - Approx. 75 minutes

The Seekers

What would you do if the answers to all of life's questions were laid at your feet? What value would you place on the ability to know what to say or what to do in any situation? What would it be worth? What price would be too high? Scott is about to be given such an opportunity and has to decide what he's willing to sacrifice for those answers. What starts out as a run in with a strange blind woman turns into a terrifying experience for unsuspecting people, family and friends.

2003 - Color - Not rated - Approx. 78 minutes

UNBELIEVEABLY ROTTEN!

"DON'T EVEN *THINK* ABOUT BUYING THIS "TAX WRITE OFF"...

The reason that Director/Writer Robert J. Massetti is in this GARBAGE is that no other actor would be crazy enough to take the parts.

DEAD SERIOUS: YOU CANNOT BEGIN TO IMAGINE JUST HOW *CHEAP, AWFUL, BADLY SCRIPTED, BADLY ACTED AND ULTIMATELY WORTHLESS* THIS SET OF STORIES REALLY IS, AND THE MASSETTI STORIES ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST YOU'LL FIND ANYWHERE. THIS MAN IS THE MODERN DAY ED WOOD - BUT WITHOUT WOOD'S BRILLIANT VISION (BY COMPARISON) AND HIGH BUDGET HUBCAPS, EFFECTS AND MASTERFUL DIALOG/SCRIPTING. ("Because you're STUPID! STUPID! STUPID! STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!")

HOPEFULLY, I've now saved your lives and money and a terminal case of brain rot by convincing you NOT TO THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY ON THIS.

BUT, to be perfectly fair, if you ever have visitors who've overstayed their welcome, THIS is the perfect DVD to put on. You'll be amazed how quickly they find an excuse - ANY EXCUSE - TO LEAVE!

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!

"CONTENTS of EVEN WORSE THAN EVIL 4 Movie Pack:

INSANIAC-- The film's director, John Specht, appears here as the doctor who hypnotizes a deranged amnesiac in this disjointed, amateurish effort. The hypnotized female patient has such violent visions, her amnesia was undoubtedly a merciful relief.

LAST HOUSE ON HELL STREET-- Another "Specht-acle"... A house infects the mind of a man (huh?) who then drags his girlfriend there and brutalizes her. A torture to watch.

PHOBIAS-- A fairly decent Robert J. Massetti two-fer. As is typical of these sorts of films, the director is also a cast member. Segments: "Blackout," "When Shadows Lie Darkest."

THE SEEKERS-- A videotape causes its viewers to solve their problems homicidally (thus creating NEW problems for them!). Has enough naked chubby girls in it for three Rubens paintings.

For some "Bad Taste Theater" comic relief, check out their RURAL FOLK 4 Movie Set. It's a redneck riot!

BRENTWOOD's 4-fers are nicely priced movie bundles. Video and sound quality of these digitally unrestored public domain films is generally fine. Discs are dual-side recorded.
