Then I saw the documentary on him. The fact that this movie is based on a true story is amazing. This movie is not meant to be picked apart and reviewed. Overall, this is just a monotone film in which we watch the protagonists do various drugs. Much like a lazy follow-up to Easy Rider in tone.
