Not Great Mafia Movies

"I picked up Great Mafia Movies plus GMM Volume Two, and Crime Lords, and was disappointed. I went in with low expectations (which in turn was too high). They are no Godfather. These movies will put you to sleep. Video quality is poor and in some instances the color fades to green, yellow, etc. I picked up each one for six dollars (new), and still feel cheated. Save your money for one quality movie."
Three mob "hits"

"The second edition of GREAT MAFIA MOVIES, like its predecessor, contains three little seen public domain crime films on a single DVD. The appellation "great" is an overstatement for these collections of low-budget quickies, and the main appeal here may be for completists only.
SYNOPSES:
HIT LADY-- Scripted by Yvette Mimieux and directed by Ed Wynn's grandson, this "Movie of the Week" concerns a lovely artist who leads a double life as a contract killer. Good cast in a sanitized for television underworld story.
INCIDENT ON A DARK STREET-- Failed TV show pilot ("The Prosecutors"). William Shatner as the bad guy chews scenery and everything in sight. Prosecuting attorneys investigate gangland hit on a hood (played by Richard Castellano, aka "Clemenza" in THE GODFATHER) scheduled to give court testimony. Typically 70s TV stuff.
MOB STORY-- NYC gangster on the run hides out in his small home town.
The COPS 4 Movie Pack (from BCI / Eclipse) features Bad Cop (I and II), Street Vengeance and Narcotic Justice.
