"I think in Europe this DVD is known as "Italian Bach in Vienna". It was later released in the US as "Bach and Vivaldi..." followed by something generic. So this looks like the 3rd version of the same DVD (or rather the same DVD with yet another case case around it).
Il Giardino Armonico are known (worldwide) to be one of the best baroque performers (look them up). It's really nice to see them here performing live. I didn't care for the CPE Bach piece to be honest but the rest is very nice. The Vivaldi concerto was my favorite (It didn't have the sisters but I didn't buy it to see them anyway)."

"Everything here is quite correctly done mechanically, but the problem is the contents. If I want a dvd by these two I would like to see them doing the duos, for which they became famous, ie Gershwin, etc.
The arrangements are contrived, which is not unusual, but why not somethings which are really suited to their playing? The Vivaldi is to me the item of clearly the most interest---not because of the playing but just for its own sake.
