If you are a fan of Big Band Jazz, then this one's for you! Such Big Band Greats as: Benny Goodman, Jimmy & Tommy Dorsey, Artie Shaw with Fred Astaire, Louis Armstrong, Sarah Vaughan appearing with the Dorsey brothers, Duke Ellington, Gene Krupa, The Art Tatum All Stars, Dizzy Gillespie and Bobby Hackett. If that isn't enough, how about these singers that appear on various numbers throughout this rich collection:Peggy Lee, Helen O'Connel, Ray Eberle, Roberta Sherwood,Herb Jeffries, Anita O'Day and appearing with Artie Shaw & his Orchestra singing "Jeepers Creepers" a very young, none other than, Tony Bennett. While Tony is not given credit on the DVD album notes, Artie Shaw introduces him at the beginning of the song (#14) on the disc. This is a classic collector's DVD that you should not miss!
