"OH.....MY GOD !SAVE YOUR MONEY, IT'S ONE STUPID ANIMATION!"
You wanted the best...

"..its a shame you won't get the best though.Kiss Immortals was probably one of the most anticipated DVD releases for me. I loved the webisodes and was looking forward to being able to watch them all on my DVD player. Imagine my shock and surprise to discover that the DVD only carries 9 of the 27 episodes. Just when you're getting into it..the credits roll. Disappointment is all I can express, especially since I know all the fantastic parts that were not included. For example..why even release it with the title of Kiss Immortals when any and all sections relating to Gene, Paul, Ace and Peter in their Immortal personas are not even included. What really peeved me off the most was that NO WHERE was there to be found information stating that the DVD release only included the first 9 episodes. Had I have known I would have saved my hard earned money. All I can hope is that the remaining 18 episodes are coming on a soon to be released DVD. My advise to you is that if you have a connection fast enough..save your money and watch the full series on the Kiss Immortals website."

"After eagerly awaiting the DVD release of KISS Immortals, I was extremely disappointed to realize that only 9 of the 27 Webisodes are on the DVD! Not only that, the DVD will not skip ahead chapters and trying to fast forward reacts in a funny way too. Being a KISS fan from 1974, and viewing and saving all the webisodes from Bright Digital Entertainment, This DVD was truly disheartening to say the least. If the producers don't come out with the follow up DVD's to complete the story, then seriously save your hard earned cash and don't buy this one. You've been warned!"
KISS Immortals: Fantastic Fraud?

"Being a KISS fan since 1975 and a fan of the internet "webisodes" of KISS Immortals I was thrilled to learn that the series was being made available in DVD format. I quickly ordered my copy and had a fun evening with my children planned centered around the KISS Immortals DVD. My reaction after playing the DVD is somewhere between "fantastic!" and "fraud!".When the DVD first started I was very impressed with the remastered graphics. The digital animation looks terrific, much better than in the original "webisode" format. Being a multipath movie gives the option to choose what happens next and it was very simple to do so using my remote control's arrow keys. It was aggrivating not being able to resume play when stopping, or jump ahead with a chapter selection screen, or even fast forward. Once you have started the movie you can only use the pause feature or be forced to start over at the beginning. I was prepared to over look these missing features and just assumed it was probably due to the multipath format of the movie that prohibited skipping around the disc. I found the improved graphics such a treat that I really did not mind these limitations. The one thing about the KISS Immortals DVD that I can not over look is the fact that is simply not the complete story. The original internet series consists of 27 chapters and tells a complete story. What you get with the KISS Immortals DVD is only the first 9 chapters! Since there was nothing in the product descriptions on any of the web sites selling KISS Immortals or even on the DVD package itself stating that this was not a complete story I was extremely upset to find out that it was over after only 38 minutes! I can only hope that the company that released this DVD plans on releasing the next two installments soon so that I may enjoy the incredible graphics as well as the excellent storyline that combines the best of all the previous attempts to translate KISS into either movie or comic book heroes and actually succeeds. The fact that I feel misled into thinking I was buying the complete story has obviously left me with an unsatisfying experience with this DVD. If it had been made clear that I was only buying the first of three parts on this disc and the other two parts were also available I would feel that the price of the three disc set was worth it for what I consider to be KISS' best merchandising endeavor of their career."
