Movie Reviews

One of the best anime I've had the pleasure of seeing.
01/16/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"When I bought the first DVD of "Kaze no Yojimbo", I wasn't quite sure what I was getting myself into. Finishing the last one, I do now. Kaze no Yojimbo is simply one of the best animes I've ever seen, and trust me, I've seen quite a few. It also boasts one of the best last two episodes of a series I've seen in a long time. It has a bit of a real world feel to it, not forcing George (the main character) into an unrealistic relationship with a 17 or 18 year old girl that falls in love with him (George is probably around 25 or a bit less), and the result is truly heartwrenching. Also, don't miss some awesome action seens, especially the train seen in the second-to-last episode. Overall, 5 stars."
