Movie Reviews

So Smooth
Freddy Red | Rochester, NY | 07/26/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This is a terrific dvd - yes it's true there is no audience but the musicians play full tilt, Kim is a pro and audience or not he plays beautifully. The lighting changes and mood of the set are top-notch, the sound is perfect; it's a dreamy, atmospheric show and an ideal background on a big screen. Ignore the other reviews that wish for an audience and enjoy the program. Highly recommended."

(3 out of 5 stars)

"I like Kim Waters' music, but this dvd was "a little slow" -- although the guys really worked hard in playing the music, my attention span "came and went" after awhile. I watched the dvd twice just to make sure that I was not "tired" when I watched it the first time. I felt the same way half-way through the second time I watched it as I did the first time. The songs are nice, but the dvd is not worth $14 to $16 -- when the price comes down to $4 or $5, then buy it. As far as Kim being "fine" is concerned, the base player -- who I assume is kin to Kim because they have heads alike (: --is REALLY the fine one!!!(: -- Wish I knew him! (: Three and 1/2 stars -- that's all I'd give for this dvd."

"This dvd has great color and good sound (as long as it is playing). However, the disc stops and the player reports that the disc cannot be played. I will return this disc.

"Kim, this is Money from Cincinnati, Ohio and I must say this DVD was excellent as when we see you guys live in concert. You know we love your style and your music. The quality and sound was just like being there. The picture and the sounds look excellent on my Big screen TV and I must say that when my friends come by that this DVD will be the one that we will look at for years to come (until you come out with another DVD) Thanks again Kim, your next DVD should be live in Cincinnati,
