Another convoluted wreck of a crime show. Set in the current day among wealthy beachfronts and gritty back-streets of historic seaside resort Brighton, England. All these characters are horribly flawed, especially the main protagonist DS Nancy Devlin. The plotting is trim and tight, full of twists and turns at speed, with car chases, explosions, fires, and fights. None of the traditional British languor here. High concept drama which will keep you guessing.

This was aired in 2016 and there are rumblings of a second series, the premise of which is set up in the last episode. If you're looking for something binge-able, this is it.
