I enjoyed both of these movies. They are both well acted and very interesting. The bonus features which include extra scenes and thoughts from the cast and crew are also great.

Widow on the Hill is so intriguing that you will want to know more. The real name of the Hill estate is Mt. Athos, in Orange County Virginia. Mt. Athos was once part of President James Madison's Montpelier estate. It is 75 miles southwest of Washington DC. From the front door unfolds a panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains to the west.

"Sleepy and forgotten as it appears, Orange County and its environs have been discovered of late. Affluent northerners have settled in, refurbishing the old 19th-century homes and acquiring livestock. So far, neighboring Albemarle County is a greater lure for celebrities, among them actress Sissy Spacek, novelist John Grisham, and music star Dave Matthews, but recently playwright Sam Shepard and actress Jessica Lange bought a big farm right down the road from Mt. Athos."

The real name of the widow is Donna J. Summerville and the real name of the husband was Hamilton A. Summerville. Hamilton Somerville, a gentleman farmer was related to the du Pont family and owned a 345-acre estate called Mount Athos. The estate was estimated at $15 million.

"This was one of the best lifetime type dramas I have seen. It is also one of the most disturbing. The behavior of this woman unsettled me so that I have been trying to find out what the final conclusion was on the internet. I have been unsucessful thus far. I know of other situations in real life where a spouse was accused of murdering (or attempting to murder) their wife/husband...one of which happened down the street from me (von Bulow in the 1980's) yet this is more chilling."
