Movie Reviews

LOVED IT!!!!!

"I loved this workout series. I did them with my 3rd child that I had 3 days ago and I can tell you there is a big difference with the way I feel this time then with the other 2 that I didn't do the video. I feel great!!! I loved that it kept my arms toned as well as my butt. I recommend this to all my friends who ask me how I kept the major pregnancy weight off. With my first I gained 45 pounds but with my second and 3rd I gained 18 pounds. It was with the help of these DVD's as well as diet. Get these if you want a great pregnancy workout."
Great video, with one caveat

"I highly recommend Lindsay Brin's video for expectant moms. It isn't terribly challenging if you are already physically fit, but it is sufficient to get in a good workout without concern about overdoing it. She offers clear options for ramping up or keeping down the intensity, and she frequently trades off between cardio and toning segments, holding your interest while allowing for necessary breathers. If you are looking for the equivalent of a 5K in terms of cardio during your pregnancy, this is not the video for you, but for all who are looking for a nice sweat with a lovely, cheerful instructor, Lindsay Brin is great.

My one caveat is that the camera work in this video is VERY annoying. There are three women in the video, each demonstrating a different level of intensity with variations. The cameraman had a real knack for focusing closely on one individual while the instructor is describing the other's variation (which you can't see), and you completely miss what they are actually doing until nearly the end of the segment. This is less of a problem when you repeat the video, but it's evident in the entire series. Overall, however, I wouldn't discount the video on that basis alone, and I remain a fan."
Best Prenatal DVD I've purchased so far!

"I bought 3 prenatal DVDs when I was approved to exercise (so 2nd trimester) by my doctor: the Summer Sanders Prenatal Workout, the Perfect Prenatal Workout, and this one. This one is by far the best one. The first time I did the workout, I felt sore but comfortably sore. I didn't feel like the other 2 DVDs got me to that point (in fact, Perfect Pregnancy threw out my back). Lindsay is very upbeat, the music is energizing, and the stretching before and after the main workout helps me tremendously. Plus, the yoga section has finally eased the pain I feel in my back from the growing belly. In all, I would recommend this DVD first and the others second."
Love it!

"I loved this workout! It helped relieve my lower back pain. It was challenging enough that I got a workout, but didn't tire me out for the rest of the day. It targets all the areas of the body that are under stress and keeps you strong as the baby grows. I liked that it was under an hour. It was easy to do while my toddler was taking a nap. I would recommend this product to anyone trying to stay tone. I only had to do the workout 2 or 3 times a week to keep my back up. When I would skip it, my back pain would return!"
