First of all, let me say that the late Manfredo Fest is a Brazilian brilliant pianist from the early Bossa Nova years who came to live in the USA in the late 60s.

His ability in keyboard has drawn immediate attention of Mr. George Shearing and this has led Fest to know Brian Torff, the long time bassist for Mr. Shearing.

This is a duo by two 'virtuoses', two masters in their respective instruments.

Here you'll find some Jazz, some compositions of their own and some Bossa Nova in a delicious repertoire, especially adequate for Jazz listeners."
