"Nooma is a series of 10 (at the moment? Hopefully more in the future) short DVDs that deal with living a Christian life and having a Christian perspective towards life. I've seen 5 of the 10 and every one of them has been excellent, but I think "Luggage" is the best. It's a 13 minute video, shot in an airport, of a guy talking about people and their luggage. Sounds exciting, doesn't it! But there are spiritual implications, of course. This guy (Rob Bell) has an uncanny knack for boiling spiritual principles down to their essential elements and then explaining them in a very down-to-earth way. He doesn't preach--it's like he's talking to you, not at you, and that makes the message difficult to resist. I would heartily endorse the whole series--and "Luggage" in particular, if you have difficulty forgiving others--to any Christian who wants to understand better how to live a life that pleases God. And if you aren't a Christian but are curious about Christianity and God I can't think of many better places to start than right here. Tc
