Movie Reviews

A cool music video collection but short runtime
Dennis A. Amith (kndy) | California | 11/26/2001
(3 out of 5 stars)

"This is the music video collection featuring The Mad Capsule Markets from their album [OSC-DIS].1. Tribe - A music video combining Electribe sounds with punk/hip hop-metal-techno. Very cool!2. [Pulse] - Featuring the guys in a computerized futuristic "Star Wars"-likesetting. TMCM as the White Crushers taking on the Black Cyborns.3. All the Time on Sunny Beach - What better than TMCM in the summer!4. Good Girl (Dedicated to Bride 20 years after) - An awesome song featuring many beautiful Japanese women.5. Midi Surf - A song featuring a group of skaters who go skating after their TV starts acting up (probably by the Black Cyborn) to the tune of "Midi Surf".6. BONUS TRACK - "Systematic" is an older video of the group jamming inside (what looks like) their home recording studio. If you enjoyed the OSC-DIS album, you're going to enjoy this DVD. The only negative that this DVD has is its short runtime (around 30 minutes) and there is no interviews with the group, behind-the-scenes footage or anything else but the videos. The DVD quality is good and the music sounds great. As for special features, there are several photos of the three group members and the rest are Palm/Manga Entertainment trailers. If you can get enough of the music from one of the most unique bands to come from Japan, check out this DVD because it rocks!"
