A relatively typical revenge plot, but with a plot twist that could have been more clearly implemented. Diesel and Tate star in this buddy cop actioner wherein they are apparently guys who 'could have been' gangers or dealers, but end up on the right side of the law. The acting is okay, but the pacing and script are probably the cause of this movie not being well-received. There are also a couple scenes that really stretch credibility . . . such as killing someone at range with a handgun completely submerged underwater (could maybe happen under the best circumstances with the right kind of gun I guess, but I'd lay odds that the projectile would be pretty weak if the weapon even fired). Anyway, the film has a lot of elements that should have worked, but they somehow fall just short of pushing it out of mediocrity. Again, not really the fault of the actors involved or the budget.
