Movie Reviews

One of those utterly ridiculous late night movies!
K. Cannon | USA | 11/09/2003
(3 out of 5 stars)

"This was one of those late night softcore "Rated R" movies they used to show on Cinemax and in edited format on USA network back in the mid-1990's. The movie has no real redeeming value besides the fact that it's so cheesy as many of the films back then were. Gorgeous women, bikinis, and bald Hare Krishna dudes abound! Okay, I wouldn't argue with you if you thought this was one of the worst movies ever made...but I like it for some insane reason. As for the DVD itself, it's very disappointing. The picture and sound are both okay, but nothing worth cheering about. The really disappointing part is that the DVD does not even have a Menu or Scene Selection! You pop the DVD in and it simply plays the movie. If you get through the end credits the DVD loops back and plays the movie again. I tried it in three different DVD players to see if if had a menu, but there's simply none to be found. This is weird since all Artisan DVD's I've ever viewed in the past at least had a Menu with scene selections. There is also no inner chapter insert included in the case as mostly all Artisan DVD's have also done in the past. It advertized on the package that the DVD has a "Interactive Menus" and "Scene Index" which is very misleading. The DVD does have "Chapter Stops" during the movie, but you have to hit your "forward/backward" buttons on your DVD player to get to different scenes."
