"Michel Legrand is a monster composer,arranger and jazz pianist.He composes music for film and many of his songs have become standards and jazz standards.On this live video,Legrand conducts his music with a symphonic orchestra and performs his music on piano with a swinging quartet.His chops on piano are in the realm of the great Oscar Peterson and his melodies stay in your head.He is joined with a great alto/tenor sax soloist,a good jazz trumpet player and an unbelieable female harpist!His singing is not that good-but it is musical-so its not that painfull.
This is a great DVD to see & listen to!"
