Movie Reviews

So sad...!!
12/16/2003
(5 out of 5 stars)

"If I impart one piece of sound advice to anyone who is thinking of watching these DVDs' is that .... do not select or watch the English version , you should ONLY choose the option to watch in Japanese with English subtitles ! I could not handle the English version at all !This DVD contains the really pivotal episode 10 which is SO moving and plaintive in tone in which you learn about Naoe's dark secret past and how he betrayed Kagetora spanning back over 400 years. Complexities in plot and further character introductions and development take a back seat to the sheer emotional drama being played out between Naoe and Takaya and their intense relationship, and leaves you desparately wanting to view the last DVD immediately !!This series is well translated and I really love the beautiful shoujo artwork and the georgeous Bishonen representation of the 'sexy' male leads , as well the soundtrack score is wonderfully evocative and worth a mention !!In my humble opinion , this is an amazingly satisfying anime which is very moving , with a lovely blend of action , interesting story as well as catering for the yaoi lovers out there , only may need to watch a couple of times to pick up all complex intricateness of the plot development."
