"What version is this? looks like the old collectors edition (2 discs) but it says it is not released until June 21st!
The Summer Movie Comedy Cash is a shockingly bad promotion - earn money off vouchers to see 1 of 3 crap movies in the theatre! whoopee.
this DVD looks like a rip off as there is nothing new. buy both and be deceived?
so 1 star for Amazon (the description is totally useless) but 5 stars for the movie - just brilliant."
"The Meaning Of Life" is great but...

"Monty Python's "The Meaning Of Life" is arguably their weakest film, which still makes it one of the funniest movies ever. More in the classic sketch format of the TV show than a real narrative, it purports to reveal the Meaning Of Life, as demonstrated through a series of unrelated episodes portraying the various ages of man. Or something like that. The movie has it's ups and downs, but is sill well worth seeing. Disc 2 has a lot of wonderful bonus features, involving fish and songs and trailers and such, which Amazon declines to describe here, but they're really very good.
But what's up with the description Amazon gave it. I assure you, neither Matt Frewer, Simon Jones, Andrew MacLaughlin et al are in this movie. (Carol Cleveland has made brief appearances in most MP films, and she does here.) And what on Earth is a "Summer Comedy Movie Cash (1983)" of the title. Shurely Shome Mishtake? Still, great film!"
