Movie Reviews

Old TV Shows can hold up well
R.East | Boston,USA | 08/29/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Mr. & Mrs. North is a very early TV series that enjoyed a long run. That they are being released on DVD all these years later is fortunate indeed as in viewing this fourth DVD of the series shows how well a series can hold up for todays viewer. This series had good acting & well written scripts for the light mystery/comedy genere.Barbara Britton & Richard Denning were perfect in the roles. 4 episodes per DVD means there should be more to come as this once popular series finds a new audiance.
One wishes producers of other early shows would show as much interest as Mr.& Mrs. Norths, & release other great early TV shows. This is one series worth owning."
A good sample of early TV

"For all of you Mr. & Mrs. North fans, this one is another winner. You can see some refinement in production values & a glimpse of some future TV character actors."
