I love all things Egyptian, and I love this show. The theme song that I quoted above pretty much sums up the plot. It is truly a shame that this quality show was cancelled after only one season due to poor ratings. I enjoyed this show in its initial run during the Fall of 1997, and in subsequent years, I have enjoyed its revival in syndication. I Purchased this DVD on 02/03/2010 while in the grip of a powerful wave of nostalgia, and I've been watching it repeatedly since its arrival. I sincerely hope that the entire series of 42 episodes will soon be released on DVD. I know that I'm not the only "Kidult" that remembers and loves this show.
