I really enjoyed this movie. It gives some insight as to how the media is produced and skewed.

Better than average story from 1985 with best redeeming factor being Martin Sheen! He stars as a TV anchor with morals that lead him toward honesty that many of his fellow news hungry people seem to be lacking. A teacher reportedly has an affair with one or more of his students and all hell breaks lose in the junior high in San Diego. Classmates of his 14 year old daughter are involved so it hits close to home when the intrepid newsman is pressured to go public with the story. Thought provoking and occurring far too often in today's society!

Entertaining

(4 out of 5 stars)

"Martin Sheen plays a conscientious news reporter who clashes with his no-holds-barred boss (Peter Riegert) over sensationalistic news stories, including a school sex scandal involving a friend of his daughter (Sidney Penny), and the use of a breezy attractive female reporter (Sheree J. Wilson) and her fluff pieces during ratings sweeps. Sheen sticks it to them both in the end. Well acted and entertaining."
