"I recently attended a Pointer Sisters concert in Palm Desert, California this month. They had the entire house on it's feet and everybody was dancing and having a great old time! I was tempted to go again for the second night of their two night stand, but decided to cherish my memories of the good time I had instead.
The next day, I did some research and discovered this DVD was recorded in April of 2004 at the Alberta Bair Theatre in Billings, Montana. First of all, the original line-up of the Pointer's has changed. June Pointer left the group several years before this DVD was filmed and was replaced with Ruth's daughter Issa. She is an excellent performer and fills the shoes of her Aunt June quite nicely. Sadly, the world lost June Pointer to cancer on April, 11, 2006.
The music on this DVD contains all the top hits that the Pointer's acquired over their 30 year plus career. They will have you singing along and perhaps even dancing in front of the TV set before you get to the middle of the concert. WOW!
I really loved the extra's and any Pointer Sister fan should thoroughly enjoy seeing them too. Their after-concert interview was fun and quite a hoot to watch. I was laughing right along with them with their recollections of the past and their adventures in show business.
Buy this DVD..........You Are Gonna Love It!"

"The filmed version of a concert the Pointers gave in 2004 in Billings Montana...IS worth every penny and a remarkable testimony to the power and energy that they still generate all these years later. With Issy (Ruths daughter as replacement for June)...The Pointers are still one of the best vocal groups EVER. Their live version of Chain Of Fools is dare I say it better than the original, and many of their hits still sound fresh today and fantastic live. Its a feel good concert/dvd that shows that true talent is enduring. Awesome."
