"This Dalida DVD is fabulous. It includes a documentary film on this French singer's life and art that takes us back to her roots in Cairo, Egypt. The house where she was born, her school, the pyramids of Giza create a wonderful background. It also takes us on a tour of major cities where she gave concerts, like New York! The bonus features are just as great. They include a rare photo gallery, videos and the inauguration of the Place Dalida in Paris in 1997. If you haven't heard Dalida sing before this is your chance. She is a class of her own: a strong yet tender voice, beautiful lyrics and fantastic music."
