Member Movie Reviews Denise B. (GordonSetter) Reviewed on 11/6/2008... A television series MUST SEE for any kid crazy about horses. The acting among the second tier stars leaves a little to be desired, but Alex and Henry do a great job. The training of the horses seems to be top notch, or else they have some excellent doubles and wonderful editing! The filming is done in different locations, giving the show a natural feel. Movie ReviewsIf you are looking for the movie, this is not it! KG | NJ | 08/13/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "This is actually the early 90's television series starring Richard Ian Cox as Alec. It should have been titled "The Adventures of the Black Stallion". I loved this series as a child and was so happy they to see they released some of the episodes on DVD.
This disc contains 5 episodes. The Alhambra Zarr, Almost Home, Deadliest Bidder, Blackout, and Detour. They are episodes 6-10 from the 2nd season." |
