You MUST watch for the continuation of the movie that will run in the credits. Actually, the credits stop and the movie continues and then the credits run again.

Into and At the beginning of the credits they show more of the movie and it is the ending of the movie. Not to give it away....It does explain why the apes are the way they are in all the other Planet of the Apes movies and what did happened to all the humans on the earth. So skip some more years this movie is an introduction into the original "Planet of the Apes" with Charlton Heston from 1968. Just like Star Wars did.

I really liked it and thought it was a great opening to all the other Planet of The Apes movies.
