Very special DVD...

"I learned about this new DVD via the band "Collide", whose lead singer, KaRIN, has a couple tracks on the DVD. I am also a pagan druid minister, so anything with the name "Ritual Path" is going to catch my attention.
The DVD is pretty much exactly what it claims to be, and I am still trying to figure out the best ways to fully utilize it. The visuals are just stunning. They lend themselves to guided visualizations, and are very reminiscent of more hallucinatory experiences. I would love to see this used as a projection played on top of a live band, as the textures are just amazing. In a retail environment, it would be a great way to demonstrate picture quality of a display or projector, and could also just be a nice mood setting element in a retail space, or even somewhere like a waiting room at a doctors office. I suspect little kids would also enjoy it, and it would be a great background to compliment someone reading aloud, or at a
The music is rich and evocative, and paired extremely well with the visuals. The loops that make up the 2nd half of the disc are very interesting in their own right, and I am very pleased that they were included. Overall I am very happy with the authoring, and overall experience of this innovative new "title"."
An Amazing DVD

"I recently found out about the Ritual Path DVD after visiting Nijole Sparkis's myspace page and later Fritz Heede's page. After watching a few sample clips and hearing the music I decided to order and just watched last night.
The music blends in perfectly with the beautiful landscapes and amazing visuals that intertwine throughout the video. The DVD also has a number of sound loops that I had just started to watch and were just as wonderful as the main section.
Very well worth the price, very nice to sit back and forget about the world outside, at least for a little while."
Mesmerizing and beautiful

"I love watching this - It's so soothing and the graphics and music are incredible. You won't regret buying it - I know I didn't!"
A must for any fan of motion art.

"Ritual Path is the sequel to Illuminated Manuscripts. Illuminated Manuscripts was incredible, and John Banks has outdone himself for this sequel. Watching this video is like watching a beautiful painting in motion. All the photography is outstanding, and the transitions are even better. Banks guides your eye in such a way that you aren't even aware that something has changed until several seconds after the fact. Any fan of motion art should pick up both this video, and Illuminated Manuscripts. I have many art videos, and these two are by far some of my favorites. And that isn't even mentioning the music, which is phenomenal. This is a great video to watch by itself, or to leave playing in the background when you have friends over. The loops included on the dvd are seamless and will play over and over to create an ambient atmosphere in your living space."
