Movie ReviewsWalking Workout Plus Pilates DJ | USA | 05/24/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "This thoroughly enjoyable walking workout clocks in at about 35-minutes. PJ says we've walked just over two miles, and that seems right compared to other walking workouts I own (i.e., Leslie.) She leads three others and cues very well, all the while chatting about mostly health related stuff. I really liked her - personable and friendly without being overly talkative. After about 30 minutes of walking, heel digs, kicks, hamstring curls, and knee lifts, we slow it down for about five minutes, then hit the floor for a traditional 20-minute pilates routine (rolldowns, the hundred, etc.) The music is low-key and jazzy, which is an interesting change of pace from the faster dancey music I am used to ... but it works and it is actually quite pleasant! All-in-all, I enjoy walking with PJ and the gang! " Aerobic Plus Toning Ella Jolly | New York, NY United States | 02/27/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "Great low-tech workout. First, 25 minutes of simple walking variations, ramping up the challenge with arm movements, get the whole body glowing. PJ keeps us on our toes, and heels, by adding new moves and combinations, all the while beaming her smile and giving encouragement. This part of the DVD can be a short workout in itself, or you can intensify the benefits with the 20 minute Pilates mat work with Moira that follows. Both segments are classroom style, with a handful of people working out. Only complaint would be that everyone is at a similar fitness level, that is, very. No heavier role models here. These athletes have obviously lost their weight before stepping into the studio!"
