Movie ReviewsDon't kill your DVD! Christopher Coquard | Edmonton, AB | 12/08/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "This DVD features a few unlisted extras: * INTERVIEW - The three original band-members are interviewed, that is interesting, especially details about BRAINBLOODVOLUME and the ensuing American tour and band relationships - then, however, there is a component where the drummer and lead-bass player ask John about the set-list - this part is quite contrived and trite, with John being shy, and not getting at the roots of the deeper meanings of his music * SOUND-CHECK - watch the band twink and fiddle with their instruments Now onto the actual DVD - here is the set-list: Not Sleeping Around Happy Cut Up Selfish Walking Through Syrup Capital Letters Stuck Trust Nothing Like Intact Until You Find Out Bite Scrawl Kill Your Television Song Eleven Could Take Forever Aim Plug Me In Grey Cell Green Terminally Groovie Titch My opinion: I have seen the NEDS in concert, and this DVD captures them beautifully, though I miss the other two members ... NEDS are a very unique and special band, and they rock out one song after the other, and show that they are as talented as perfomers as they are as song-writers. The stage is small, so they can't move around a lot, but the crowd is into them, and they deliver. It was worth every penny, and I hope to see the NEDS again soon." What a small stage Andy Russell | Thailand | 03/25/2006 (2 out of 5 stars) "On first view it is a disappoiting effort to re-capture the neds sound and stage presence. I mean look at 'walking to syrup' concert video and you will see what I mean - wolves civic hall was what neds was all about - the venue in shoot the neds is tiny..... small stage reducing the classic neds live performance they were so good at."
