Movie Reviews

Another Lost World
C. A. Luster | Burke, VA USA | 03/01/2004
(4 out of 5 stars)

"The set includes six slender cased DVDs with twenty-two episodes. It is 16 hours and 8 minutes of entertainment. The first two seasons have all the original cast. The cast includes Peter McCauley as Professor George Challenger, Rachel Blakely as Marguerite Krux, Will Snow as Lord John Roxton, David Orth as Ned Malone, and Jennifer O'Dell as Veronica. It looks like Michael Sinelnikoff as Dr. Summerlee may have been killed off in the first season since he does not return. After that the Australian TV industry intervened with tax laws at the the end of the second season, both Ned and Veronica had to be guest stars and the series started to go down hill after that. I highly recommend the first two seasons. The picture and sound quality is good and although the set does not includes any extras it is well worth the price. Although it may not be as fresh as the first season, we are not at all disappointed. New stories, new lands, new tribes, and plenty of action keep our interests with our intrepid group. If you enjoyed the first season, I definitely recommend you buy the second season. This season ends with a cliffhanger and makes you want to buy the third season. Once again no extras, just 22 episodes of fun."
Lost World Revisited
C. A. Luster | Burke, VA USA | 03/01/2004
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Any fan of the first season will want the further saga of our intrepid group of travellers in the Lost World. Episodes: All Or Nothing, Amazons, Tourist Season, Stone Cold, Divine Right, Skin Deep, London Calling, The Prisoner, The Games, The Source, Trophies, Voodoo Queen, The Guardians, Under Pressure, The Outlaw, The Quality Of Mercy, Mark Of The Beast, Survivor, The Pirate's Curse, The Visitor, A Man Of Vision, Into The Fire. Once again they are stranded in this strange and wonderful land, and they encounter all kinds of new lands with different races that are friendly or hostile. Good add on to the first season. I recommend it, it's another batch of fun episodes. Besides Amazon's price for this set is great. I shopped around and I haven't seen it cheaper."
So you liked the First Season, uh?
Angel LeeAnn | Nuthouse | 06/24/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"If you thought the First Season was good then you are going to absolutely LOVE the Second Season! Like mentioned by another reviewer, this season as some of the best episodes from the entire series. "The Outlaw" is wildly entertaining and truly gives the usually thought of "selfish and greedy" Marguerite Krux the chance to show us what she's really made of. Lord John Roxton (the charming hunk) kicks some serious butt in "The Games" all the while being chained to his shady (and always amusing) friend, Tribune. (Yep, ladies and gents, our favorite green man makes another appearance.) And I have yet to hear anyone say that they don't like the "The Pirate's Curse" where Marguerite lights up the screen with her dazzling smile and sparkling diamonds. Furthermore, Season Two has one of the best season finales I have ever seen. So, don't miss out on your chance to experience all the adventure, mystery, and romance of the plateau!"
What A Great Series, A Must See!

"I know tons of people are watching reality series, but do they have what The Lost World has? It has romance, teamwork, friendship, and a lot of lessons. Surprisingly it's most vital lesson is teamwork because without it I bet they would have perished. Of course Roxton and Marguerite are awesome because they have more chemistry each episode. A must see, perfectly awesome and just getting better each episode!!!!!!!!!"
