Movie Reviews

Not a ripoff; I'm suprised!...

"I'm not familiar with any other gothic/metal music video compilation dvds so I can't really compare this; but it looks good...
This dvd opened me up to other bands; specifically Qntal and Eisbrecher. The main reason I like this is because it represents more that one style of 'GOTH'....you know you got your goth rock(the cult), your ethereal(la floa maldita), your industrial(skinny puppy), and your misfit goth(blue man group)! The menu layout is the best I've seen so far on a dvd. It has your typical intro, a main page menu and mini-music video menus(about 3 pages with about 6 music video icons on each page). The selection is excellent and suprised me with more than one fav video although... I was turned off by the handful of independently made videos which came out looking rather cheap...can't really help that though since the goth scene isn't huge and hey as long as you laugh and don't cry at them then it's all gravy!... Let's just hope they don't get cheaper on the next volume."
Goth, Dark, Meloncholy . . . Break Dancing?

"This DVD, ABD Sleepwatching, has truly upped the notch. This DVD has some great music videos from some truly spectacular bands like The Cruxshadows, Skinny Puppy, The Dreamside, and Gothminister.
A must have for anyone who is Goth, or just likes the music."
