Movie Reviews

Dumbest...thing....EVER!!!

"I love Slipknot but I'm pissed that they allowed this piece of garbage into the hands of the maggot faithful. Disc1 is without a doubt the stupidest piece of[..]Ive ever seen. Why did i pay to watch some no-name idiot band roadie/hanger-on chug Jager and puke. Or watch someone else unclog a toilet, Im not kidding thats how this thing opens. Watching someone take a piss up close, or watching thier security goons beat up a fan half thier size, is this supposed to be "hardcore" or "heavy"?? The audio is terrible, you cant even tell what song is being played. I think this was put together as an art project by Saint Marys School for the Deaf and Blind. Disc2 (almost) makes up for it with interviews and videos but I'm very disappointed in the "feature". Shame on you Slipknot, you pride yourself in not exploiting your fans and you unleash this steaming heap on us. So I have to say, I loved Disasterpieces, but I will NEVER buy another Slipknot DVD. I hope you get pelted with these discs at your next show. I want my [...] back, from you, personally, with an apologiy scribbled on the bill."
Not for you

"This dvd is not for you unless u consider an interview worth it because thats basically all it is.
i watched the first dvd and for 90 minutes expected the best to come but it never did.its a 90 min dvd of just clips of basically nothing. toilet issues and drinking problems (not slipknot)
i regretted buying it and felt let down.
not what i expected
the 2nd dvd has its moments.the interview and the live shows which we already have more from disasterpieces.
thats it."
THE FIRST DISC IS BAD / THE SECOND IS WORTH A LOOK

"
I GOT THIS DVD WITH HOPE OF WATCHING AN INFORMATIVE DOCUMENTRY OF SLIPKNOT IN WHICH I WOULD SEE FOOTAGE FROM THE LAST 233 CRAZY SHOWS THEY HAD PERFORMED AROUND THE WORLD. INSTEAD, THE FIRST DISC, CONTAINING THE DOCUMENTRY, FOCUSED ON TOILETS AND A CREW MEMBER VOMITING. THE MAJORITY OF THE TIME I WAS HITTING THE FAST FOWARD BUTTON, HOPING THAT THE MOVIE WOULD EVENTUALLY HAVE SOME FOCUS. IT SIMPLY DIDN'T. IT SEEMS THAT THE FIRST DISC WAS ATTEMPTING TO BE ARTISTIC WITH CAMERA SHOTS THAT, FOR THE MOST PART, HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BAND. APPARENTLY, PISSING IN A TOILET IS ARTISTIC TO THE BAND. THE SECOND DISC WAS VERY COOL WITH INTERVEIWS, LIVE CONCERT FOOTAGE, AND VIDEOS. I LOVED THE SECOND DISC, BUT I WAS DISAPPOINTED IN THE FIRST DISC WHICH HAD HORRIBLE SOUND QUALITY, CONFUSING MENUS, AND NO DIRECTION."
I bought it and sold it within the first week!

"This is a poorly directed video. It is not something you can watch more than once. The concert footage looks like it came from a cell phone.

It's hard to navigate through the menus to find what you want.I've heard Disasterpieces is much better in quality.I haven't seen it yet.

Don't waste your time or money!I was expecting more."
