Three college geeks and two sorority girls unwittingly release an 'imp' trapped in a bowling trophy they are trying to steal as part of a hazing ritual. The imp traps them in the mall/bowling alley and transforms some into 'demons' to kill some of the others. I'm not really sure why this movie has the word 'slimeball' in the title, unless it is a reference to the geeks - otherwise slime didn't seem to play a role. This movie has an idea going for it, but lacks good dialogue, acting, camera work, lighting, special effects, directing, editing, and humor. The punk character featured on the cover is particularly grating - her lines are just stupidly over-the-top and repetitively unoriginal. So while the concept and title may lead one to believe the movie can be cheesy entertainment, but it somehow manages to mess up even the cheap, low-brow humor. The atrociously edited scenes ruin the pacing and leads to frequent boredom. There's probably a good 20 minutes that could have been eliminated from this movie, but even then I still wouldn't want to watch it again.
