Movie Reviews

Mother does not know best..
Robert Crosby | 01/02/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I am amazed how many angry mother's gave this a 1 star review because it's not appropriate for their kids!!! Just because you're mad that it isn't age appropriate doesn't mean it's bad. IT'S YOUR FAULT!!!

This is a great series for anyone over the age of 10 or so. There is very little language and the words they use are on par with "hell." This is my favorite incarnation of Spider-Man. Neil Patrick Harris is a wonderful pick to play Peter Parker. The animation really grows on you and it has some great story lines. I'm a big fan of the Spidey comics and I can't get enough of this series."
Sold Seperate
Vincent Anderson | Bikini Bottom | 05/30/2004
(3 out of 5 stars)

"This was the Spider-Man cartoon that came on MTV, not the hit one that was from Fox Kids. Its kind of a waste of money. You can these episodes along with the 13 episodes that were released earlier. But if you only liked some of the episodes, then you might like to have this one."
Not for young children
K. Schroeder | Missouri USA | 06/13/2007
(1 out of 5 stars)

"My husband loves it, but it wouldn't be appropriate for young children due to language mostly."
NOT NOT NOT for children under 16
Julianna | Reston, VA United States | 09/13/2008
(1 out of 5 stars)

"This is absolutely not for kids! It is misleading when it is sold in the toy store. The first 2 minutes start with the hazing of a "geek" and "loser" by fraternity brothers. There is some reference to a "nude beer bash." Then screaming, "What the hell?" I could not run to the machine to turn it off fast enough (my children are 4 and 3). Anyway, I am sorry to give it a poor rating because I'm sure it's great for older, die-hard Spidey fans, but under 16, I would say no way! (I would probably generalize this info to all the "Spider-Man- The New Animated Series.""
