I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it was not this surprisingly dark little movie.

It is surprisingly authentic, bringing back memories of my senior year of college (1966!!!), when I drove nonstop from New Hampshire to Miami with two fraternity brothers. The craziness has changed only in its intensity and volume.

Spring Breakers takes one thread of the craziness to its extreme, logical conclusion. Don't expect warm fuzzies.
